This project began as innocent notes scribbled down during boring college lectures. As I began following markets and world news more, I found it difficult to piece together difficult Economic concepts such as the strong dollar and its global effects. I was frustrated by typical news sources' manner in describing financial markets and the economy. I wanted to be told a story. 

I also wished I had descriptions of the economics, that defined previous years, as a reference to predict tomorrow's problems.   How can we be expected to make the right decision if we don't know what failed in the past?

So I have decided to briefly document the major events of today for use tomorrow.
